Did you know that drowning is the number one cause of death for children ages 1–4 in the U.S. and remains a leading cause of death for older children and adults? Or that over half (55%) of U.S. adults have never taken a swim lesson? Swim lessons have been shown to reduce the risk of drowning by 88%, giving parents a greater peace of mind and helping children become safer in and around all kinds of water. That’s why we’ve partnered with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA), a leading organization dedicated to preventing drowning through education, advocacy, and innovation. Together, we’re working to expand water safety awareness and reduce drowning, one swim lesson at a time.

There is always welcoming staff at the front desk, there is a large kids section to color and play in while you wait for class to start, the pool is always warm so the kids can actually focus on learning to swim instead of freezing, and the changing rooms are nice and big with hair dryers, clothes dryers, and bathrooms for after. We highly recommend here for your kids’ to learn water safety!

I recently started taking lessons after debating for a while about actually taking formal swim lessons. I never took proper swim lessons and in all honesty I have a fear of the water if my feet aren't touching the ground. They have adult classes, the class I am in is small which is great as my instructor is able to sort of tailor teaching based on where each person is. My instructor is understanding and not pushy at all which I love! I'm only a few weeks in but have been really happy with my experience so far and would recommend to anyone who wants to perhaps learn to swim for the first time or someone who wants improve their skills.

Our instructor is fantastic and really knows how to comfort him when he is overestimulated but also continue to help him learn. WAVE Swim Team Prep

Our WAVE program is a recreational swim team prep that welcomes swimmers with some knowledge of the competitive strokes to coached swim practices. WAVE builds swimmer endurance and strength as well as stroke technique, and it introduces concepts used in competitive swim training and swim meets. WAVE is for swimmers in Intermediate 2 or higher.
