Starting on May 1st, 2023, Sawfish Swim Team registration will be open. Sawfish is our recreational, non-competitive program open to swimmers Intermediate 1 and above. At this time, Sawfish team practices only on Sunday mornings, but with summer starting, additional days will be added to the schedule. Below you will find the options that will be available throughout the summer. Practices are 1 hour per day (all practices are in the morning at either 8:00 or 8:30 for Sawfish 1, and 9:00 or 9:30 for Sawfish 2). Sawfish is open to Intermediate 1 and above, as well as Beginner 3 swimmers who are able to swim 25 strokes or more without assistance.
Practices are offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday for 1 hour each day. The season starts the week of June 4th and runs for 9 weeks with the last week being July 30th (last day of practice will be Friday, August 4th). If your swimmer currently attends Sunday practice, they will need to be registered as part of the summer program in order to continue (the monthly option ends on May 28th and pauses until the fall).
Although there are 5 practices per week, you do not have to register for all of them. You can choose 1 day, 2, 3, or as many as you wish. Registration is weekly, and days must be reserved before the week starts on Sunday. Once the week starts, you cannot change days for that week.
You do not have to register for all 9 weeks. You can register for as many weeks as you wish at a time.
In-house swim meets will be announced at a later date. Please note, there are no makeups or refunds for swim team practices missed. $35 annual service fee applies to new SwimLabs swimmers.
